GRIPTAPE GRANT GUIDELINES

GripTape provides up to $250 to pursue your Challenge. These funds can be sent to you as a physical or digital Visa gift card or direct deposit. 

IMPORTANT TIPS 

PHYSICAL VISA GIFT CARDS 

  • Physical Visa gift cards are processed by our partner TREMENDOUS. You will receive an email from Tremendous with a link to enter your name and mailing address.

  • BE SURE TO SEARCH YOUR INBOX AND SPAM FOLDER FOR AN EMAIL FROM TREMENDOUS, NOT GRIPTAPE, FOR THIS MESSAGE. 

  • Visa gift cards are delivered by the US postal service and arrive in an unmarked white envelope addressed to you. 

  • These cards typically take about one week to arrive, though it may be a little longer if there are delays with your mail. If you haven’t gotten your card 10 days after entering your information on the Tremendous website, please reach out to Tremendous for support at help@tremendous.com. 

  • Once you provide your information on the Tremendous website, you will have a dashboard showing the type of card you requested and the amount of money remaining.

  • Please note that you cannot use this Visa gift card for international purchases. If you plan to use your grant this way, you will need to receive your funds as a direct deposit.

  • If you need help using your card, please contact the Tremendous help center or chat with a representative on their website. 


VIRTUAL VISA GIFT CARDS 

  • If you choose a virtual Visa gift card, you will receive an email from Tremendous with a link where you enter your name and mailing address.

  • BE SURE TO SEARCH YOUR INBOX AND SPAM FOLDER FOR AN EMAIL FROM TREMENDOUS. 

  • You can choose to receive your card by email or text. 

  • Your card must be activated on the Tremendous website and may be used immediately online or for phone orders.

  • Virtual cards cannot be used for in-person purchases unless you add them to an Apple or Google digital wallet. 

  • Once you provide your information on the Tremendous website, you will have a dashboard showing the type of card you requested and the amount of money remaining on it.

  • Please note that you cannot use this Visa gift card for international purchases. If you plan to use your grant this way, you will need to receive your funds as a direct deposit. 

  • If you need help using your card, please contact the Tremendous help center or chat with a representative on their website. 

DIRECT DEPOSIT 

  • If you choose direct deposit, also known as ACH or bank transfer, you will receive an email from Tremendous with a link where you enter your name, address, and banking information on the card company’s secure, encrypted website. 

  • BE SURE TO SEARCH YOUR INBOX AND SPAM FOLDER FOR AN EMAIL FROM TREMENDOUS. 

  • Neither GripTape nor Tremendous collects or stores your banking information.

  • Direct deposits typically take 2–6 days for the funds to arrive in your account.

  • If you need help with your direct deposit, please contact the Tremendous help center or chat with a representative on their website. 

Note that if your grant is lost or stolen, GripTape will not be able to replace it.
